LIVESTOCK SALES POLICY
Terms and agreement for livestock sales.
Agreement
Keeping our buyers happy is a top priority, so please read this sales policy completely before making payment. By sending a deposit or paying in full, you’re confirming that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you have any questions, just reach out.
Free Waitlist
We are happy to add your name to our free waitlist for unborn kids due to pairings listed on the breeding schedule. Contact us with your choices to get your name on the list. After freshening, we'll go down the waitlist in the order they were received and notify each person of availability. There is no obligation to be on the waitlist. To claim an animal or for us to hold, a deposit is required. We will not hold any animal without a deposit.
Sales & Deposits
To reserve or claim an animal, we require a non-refundable deposit that is 50% of the total price. At this time, the animal will be marked "pending". The date of pick up or transport will be mutually agreed upon prior to accepting a deposit. Any animal that is not picked up within 7 days of this date will incur a $30/week care fee, per animal, starting the following week. If pick up has not been made within 30 days after the agreed pick up date, the transaction is canceled, the deposit is forfeited, and the animal will be reposted for sale.
Rights Of Breeder
We reserve the right to retain any animal, change breeding plans, change the status of an animal to not-for-sale, or reject an inquiry, or cancel a sale. If a situation arises that calls for us to cancel a sale, we will promptly refund full payment.
Rights Of Buyer
Buyers have the right to request and receive multiple photos and videos of the animal they are purchasing, request disease testing at their expense, request a vet issued CVI at their expense, and to receive support when needed. In the event your animal becomes sick or injured while in our care, buyer has the right to agree to an exchange or may cancel the sale and receive a full refund.
Payments
We accept cash, Zelle, CashApp, We also accept PayPal and Venmo if sent via "family and friends". Due to unjust policies toward sellers, we do not accept payments sent via "goods or service" and will refund the transaction. We do not accept checks. Animals must be paid in full before leaving our farm.
Transport
We are happy to provide you with a list of good transport companies. Buyer is responsible for making arrangements and paying all costs associated with transport including crates and CVIs. There are times when we may be available to offer personal transport for a fee. We do not offer transport by flight.
Farm Pick Up
Animals may be picked up on our farm in Greenwood Springs, MS. Please do not bring dogs or other animals to our farm due to biosecurity risk and our livestock working dogs.
Health
All animals are healthy when leaving our farm. Once they leave our possession either by pick up or third party transport, we are no longer responsible for their health or condition. If an animal is found later to have a genetic defect, we will offer a replacement (equivalent or better) after receiving a detailed vet report indicating the issue, completed testing and results, and the return transfer of the registration papers. We've never had this happen, but want our buyers to know we will make it right if anything were to arise. We do reserve the right to request a second vet opinion, as well as owner release to consult with the vet, if further clarity is needed.
Mentorship
We are happy to help each one of our homes with questions and advice. The success and health of your herd is important to us. Read reviews made by other buyers to get an idea of the level of support we provide and our commitment to our buyers.
