Oregano

Oregano, also known as wild marjoram, is a must-have hardy perennial herb that should be planted in abundance in the vegetable garden. Oregano can help repel pests like cabbage moths, cucumber beetles, and aphids while attracting beneficial insects like bees and predatory wasps. It benefits tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and brassicas susceptible to heavy insect damage. It has soil-enhancing properties, aiding in moisture retention and nutrient absorption, making it an invaluable companion plant.

 

Herbal:  Oregano is rich in vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, vitamins A, C, E, and K, and fiber. Oregano is a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that can help reduce inflammation and prevent cellular damage. It can also aid digestion and menstrual cramps, relieve headaches, and boost the immune system. Additionally, oregano has been shown to have antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it an effective natural remedy for treating infections and preventing illness.

    Shipping is not available for live plants.

    We will keep your plants thriving until right before it's time for you to plant them in your garden.  Orders will be ready to pick up at our farm in Greenwood Springs, Mississippi, March-May. 

    Orders over $200 can be scheduled for free, front-door delivery to Monroe County, MS. customers.  We'll also have a few delivery drops in North Columbus and Tupelo and are happy to meet customers with any order size at our drop locations.
