Zinnias

Zinnias

Zinnias are a vibrant, must-have flower in every vegetable garden. Plant them alongside tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, squash, and beans to attract pollinators, repel harmful insects, and increase yields. Gorgeous flowers bloom continuously throughout the summer and are easy to grow in full sun. Zinnias are known to repel Japanese beetles, tomato hornworms, cucumber beetles, aphids, and whiteflies while attracting predatory wasps.

Zinnias are cut and come again; The more you cut them back, the more flowers they will grow. Blooms are edible and often used to garnish charcuterie boards, summer drinks, desserts, and salads.

Herbal:  Zinnias have been used to treat malaria and stomach pain and are used as a hepatoprotective, antiparasitic, antifungal, and antibacterial agent.

Starter will be in a 4" reusable nursery pot.
