Marigolds

Marigolds

Marigolds are indigenous to Mexico and Guatemala, discovered in the early 16th century, and brought to Europe and Northern Africa in the late 16th century. They are part of the Aster family and have around 50 species.

Marigolds bring in ladybugs, lacewings, hoverflies, parasitic mini-wasps, and other predatory insects that will eat aphids and other pests that can damage your crops.

Herbal: Marigold flowers and leaves have anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antimicrobial, and antiepileptic effects. They are usually infused in tinctures and ointments to treat wounds for inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes.

Starter will be in a 4" reusable nursery pot.
