Calendula

Calendula, also known as the Pot Marigold, is a beautiful and easy-to-grow herbaceous plant that produces vibrant yellow and orange flowers.  Calendula is a must have companion plant that attracts beneficial insects like ladybugs and bees while repelling harmful pests like aphids and whiteflies. It also enriches the soil and improves the growth of nearby plants.

Herbal:  Calendula contains powerful anti-inflammatory and antiseptic compounds that can help soothe irritated skin and promote healing, may help fight cancer, protect against heart disease, and ease muscle fatigue.  Calendula is commonly used in creams, salves, and balms to treat a variety of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and acne. Additionally, it has been shown to have antimicrobial and antifungal properties for treating infections and promoting overall wellness.

Starter will be in a 4" reusable nursery pot.
