Why an Armenian Gampr?
The Armenian Gampr is an impressive blend of gentleness, discerning courage, and immense formidable power. The Gampr is known for its independent thinking and calm, keep intellect. Historically, most were used as livestock guardian dogs giving today's Gampr the advantage of having over 14,000 years of evolution and reined, hardwired natural instinct built right into them. This ancient landrace has survived wars, oppression, invasions, famines, and disasters and has persevered.

The Gampr intensely bonds with their family and those it is charged with guarding, especially renowned for their love toward children. They will protect their family and livestock with their life, but only after assessing the situation and deciding on an appropriate reaction. Native to historical Armenia, the Gampr is an excellent, versatile choice, capable of doing various jobs around homesteads and large acre farms.

Our Pups In North America
Our family has helped many families across the US & Canada become Gampr owners by helping them import directly, through pups born on our farm, and through our sponsorship of imported litters. Our family is dedicated to the proper conservation of this rare landrace breed and are committed to raising breed awareness and mentoring future owners.

Each pin represents a pup born on our farm, from multiple sets of parents from different genetic lines. Each pin also represents years of planning and waiting, lots of training, dedication, mentoring of new homes, and gaining new friends. We adore our Gampr family!
