Why an Armenian gampr?
The rare Armenian Gampr is an impressive blend of gentleness, discerning courage and immense formidable power. The gampr is known for its independent thinking and calm, keep intellect. Historically, most were used as livestock guardian dogs giving today's gampr the advantage of having over 14,000 years of hardwired natural instinct built right into them. This ancient landrace has survived wars, oppression, invasions, famines and disasters.

The gampr intensely bonds with their family and those it is charged with guarding, especially renowned for their love toward children. They will protect their family and livestock with their life but only after assessing the situation and deciding on an appropriate reaction. Native to historical Armenia, the gampr is an excellent, non-roaming lgd with a variety of sub-types and temperaments to suit all types of farm protection needs.

IMPORTS, SPONSORS & PUPPIES
Our family has helped dozens of farms across the US & Canada become gampr owners by helping them import directly, personally importing sponsored pups and also through pups born on our own farm. Imports are available randomly, direct from the shepherds in Armenia via a path of procurement set up by the Armenian Gampr Club of America. As a family dedicated to proper conservation of this rare landrace breed we are committed to raising awareness and contributing to the diversity of the US gene pool by mentoring & continuing our efforts helping farms own the most natural livestock guardian in the world.
