In September 2019 we imported Aza and her siblings (sponsored), which are also part of the conservation effort to stabilize the gene pool. They were born in Artsakh at a nomadic Yezidi sheep camp then moved to the clan chief's main camp in Armenia. There she spent time learning manners and socializing, living with the shepherd. She's truly a gentle giant that is quiet, content with exploring on her own or playing independently. Brave and curious, we are fascinated with her.
